We’re so excited to highlight this dynamic warrior, Andrea Comeau, as Zen’s Warrior of the Month for September!
This month’s shoutout goes to someone who brings good energy, kindness, and positivity to the studio — and that’s Andrea. We also love how dynamic she is with her activities and community involvement. She’s a true inspiration, and we’re so excited to highlight her.
A little bit from Andrea about her Zen journey:
“I joined Zen in June 2023 following a neck injury. I couldn’t turn my head without using my entire body and it prevented me from doing pretty much anything physical. I was hesitant to join, as I did not have a lot of yoga experience, but once I did, I was hooked!
I tried pretty much every class they had to offer, and found a love of hot (and very sweaty) yoga. In January 2024, following a yoga class, I was driving, approached a 4-way intersection, and I realized I was able to look both ways without turning my body! The flexibility was coming back in my neck and since that day, I have done everything in my power to keep it there!”

I grew up playing competitive sports, which can be a difficult mentality to break. In class at Zen, it’s me, my mat, and my mind. Even as a new yogi, I never once felt any less accomplished than anyone else in the room, even when I face-planted attempting my first crow pose!”
