πMeet Jessπ
This November, we're so excited to introduce you to another wonderful member of our Zen instructor family, Jess (or Jessie)!
For Jess, yoga is about so much more than movement. It's an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and create a little more space for balance in our everyday lives.
Jess first discovered yoga as a powerful way to support the nervous system and gently release the stress we often carry in our bodies. That experience helped shape her approach to teaching today. She believes yoga can strengthen the body while also nurturing mental clarity, emotional well-being, and a deeper connection to ourselves.
And here's something you might not know about Jess! Outside the yoga studio, she's a professional landscape architect and a proud, self-described "plant weirdo!" πΏ
Her love for the natural world is a big part of who she is. Whether she's hiking, camping, or simply observing the changing seasons and rhythms of nature, Jess finds inspiration in the world around her. That same appreciation for slowing down and paying attention naturally finds its way into her classes.
What we love about Jess's approach is her understanding that every day is different, and so is every yoga practice. Some days we feel strong and energized. Other days we need a little more softness and stillness. Jess encourages students to honor wherever they are, without judgment or expectation.
She completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training at Frog Pond Yoga Centre in Princeton, MA, and brings a thoughtful, welcoming presence to the mat.
Want to experience a class with Jess?
Join her for Nidra Flow every Tuesday at 7 PM at our Westminster studio! It's a wonderful opportunity to slow down, release tension, and give yourself a little time to reconnect.
We're so grateful to have Jess sharing her passion, knowledge, and beautiful energy with our Zen community!
Thank you, Jess, for being YOU! π€
